At the sink water filters are okay, but it’s important to have a whole house filtration system with ultra-violet. RO systems or over-rated and produce acidic water which shouldn’t even be consumed. If there are no alkaline minerals in the water, it’s unhealthy and does nothing for the body healthwise. Over the long-term acidic water can cause all kinds of bone problems.

I purchased a Watts Premier Reverse Osmosis water filter about 10 years ago and it worked great even after it was moved to a new residence several times. Last month I purchased a new 5 stage system and what a disappointment. The water is great but the system gurgles for hours after using a small amount of water. I have preformed all troubleshooting items listed in manual before calling customer service, which was no help. The lady talked to me like I was interrupting her life. No help at all. I would strongly recommend against buying the system unless the gurgling doesn’t bother you.
